PURPOSE:To eliminate the total reflection of the sunlight on the surface of the water at sunrise and sunset and consequently efficiently raise the water temperature of an irrigation pond by a method wherein a large number of water temperature raisers, each of which is spherically made of light transmitting material and in the interior of each of which heat transfer medium is encapsulated, are suspended on the irrigation pond. CONSTITUTION:A water temperature raiser consists of a synthetic resin hollow body 2 formed so as to float on the surface of the water. Heat transfer medium 3 such as the air or the like is encapsulated in the hollow body 2, the portion 4 above the surface of the water of which is spherically made of light transmitting material and located at the center of a regular hexagonal sheet material 6. When a large number of the water temperature raisers are suspended on an irrigation pond 7 in such a manner as to close the surface 1 of the water by connecting with one another regularly, the sunlight 11 incident upon the hollow body 2 is absorbed by the heat transfer medium 3, resulting in raising the water temperature of the irrigation pond 7 and enabling to efficiently utilize the sunlight all day long. |
