<p>PURPOSE:To read surely individual subtracks of a main track without crosstalk by detecting a reading light from a track mark to control the storage time of a line sensor. CONSTITUTION:Track marks (t) which correspond to subtracks TS in 1:1 are provided in middles between end parts of subtracks TS adjacent to each other in one side edge of a main track TM. This track mark (t) has a reflection factor, namely, a ruggedness or a color different from that of the texture of a card 1. When the card 1 is transported in the direction of an arrow 3, a detection signal is outputted from a photodetector 11, and this detection signal is supplied to a shift pulse generator 12 to generate a shift pulse at a timing corresponding to the middle position between subtracks TS independently of the transporting speed of the card 1, and this shift pulse is supplied to a line sensor 10, and electric charge in each light detecting part 10a is shifted to each transfer element in a transfer part through a gate. Consequently, crosstalk is not generated between subtracks TS adjacent to each other.</p> |
