PURPOSE:To permit to utilize the swinging power of the balance for generating electric power or a direct mechanical power by a method wherein the buoyancy of water is utilized for elevating and descending water tanks as loads which are hang at both sides of the balance in order to swing the balance. CONSTITUTION:In case power is generated by swinging the balance 1, the left side second water tank 4, filled with water, is lifted by a prime mover 8 through a wire 15 to flow the water in the tank 4 into first water reservoir 3 through a hose 11 by the level difference of water and the first water tank 2 in the same water reservoir 3 is elevated by a buoyancy. Next, the tank 4 is lifted by the prime mover 8 through the wire 14 to return the water in the first water reservoir 3 into the second tank 4 when the tank 4 has become empty in order to descend the first water tank 2 in the water reservoir 3. Above-described operation is effected by the left and right devices alternately. By these operations, the balance 1, connected with the first water tanks 2 at both sides thereof through the wires 18, may be swung. |
