PURPOSE:To make it possible to provide an atomizing cylinder with respect to an atomized water tank in an attachable and detachable manner and to prevent mist leakage by dipping the peripheral edge at the lower end of the atomizing cylinder into water within the atomized water tank. CONSTITUTION:When an ultrasonic wave oscillator 18 and a blower 31 are driven, water within the atomized water tank 15 is atomized by ultrasonic wave vibrations, and mists which have been generated are discharged through a mist discharge port 17 into the room. Upon this occasion, since the outer peripheral edge 27 at the lower end of the atomizing cylinder 19 is projected to a position which is lower than the water level W at the time of stopping oscillation, the water level at the atomizing cylinder 19 becomes W1. Accordingly, mists within the atomizing cylinder 19 do not leak to the outside because the opening part 20 is constantly water sealed. Further, it is easy for cleaning to attach or detach the atomizing cylinder 19 to and from the apparatus. |
