PURPOSE:To execute appropriately management of the number of copy sheets and summing-up of a charge in the same way as the case by a cassette, even in case when transfer paper is fed manually, by generating a prescribed counter driving output in accordance with the discriminated size of the transfer paper. CONSTITUTION:An indicating means SW1 for indicating the size of a reference transfer paper is connected to an input port PA1 of a microcomputer Q1, and a device can be set to two kinds of A3 and A4 by switching the SW1. A micro- switch S1 serving as a detecting means A for detecting the front end and the rear end of transfer paper fed and carried from a manually inserting base is conneted to an input port PA2. The size of the transfer paper is discriminated by counting the part between the front end and the rear end of the tranfer paper detected by S1, by the microcomputer Q1. Management of the number of copy sheets and summing-up of a charge, etc. can be executed appropriately in the same way as the case when the tranfer paper is fed by a cassette, by providing an output means for generating a prescribed counter driving output corresponding to an output from the discriminating means. |
