PURPOSE:To obtain a tomographic image of high picture quality speedily by obtaining reference data on the same inspection condition by using a standard article, and adding an image reconstituted from the reference data to a reconstituted image obtained by irradiating an object area of an examinee with a radiation. CONSTITUTION:While the standard article is mounted on a fixed table 23, a detector 27 is rotated toward a visual field to the region B of a nonobjective area under the control of a CPU32, and a slit 30 is also rotated in one body. A radiation beam from a radiation generator 26 is made incident to the detector 27 through the slit 30 and range B. Its output signal is passed through a data collection part 28 and an image reconstituting circuit 34 to store a reconstituted image in memory 32. Reconstituted images in regions C and D obtained similarly are added 321 together and stored 322. The reconstituted image of the nonobjective area of the standard article is added 243 to the reconstituted image of the objective area 24a to be examined which is obtained and stored 323 similarly to obtain the tomographic image of the whole area. |
