<p>PURPOSE:To extend the frequency region possible for the design by pushing a 1/4 wavelength transformer for impedance matching between input/output lines and four connecting parts to which each two high/low impedance lines of 1/4 wavelength are connected alternately. CONSTITUTION:The high impedance lines 10, 11 and the low impedance lines 12, 13 of 1/4 wavelength are arranged and connected alternately. Impedance transformers 18-21 of 1/4 wavelength for impedance matching are inserted between four connecting parts of a branch part formed through this arrangement and four input/output lines. The impedance of the lines 10, 11 is increased more than the impedance of the lines 14-17. Thus, the line width is designed narrow and the upper limit of the frequency is extended. Moreover, the stray coupling of the lines 10, 11 or 12, 13 is decreased by widening the line distance of the branch part, thereby improving the electric characteristic.</p> |
