PURPOSE:To switch a CRT to another CRT speedily when the former CRT becomes abnormal and to allow monitoring and control operation by containing function items of the CRT in a CRT function table and controlling them. CONSTITUTION:A computer 25 controls CRTs 1 and 2 and inspects their abnormality periodically so sent the result to a computer 4. Similarly, a computer 26 controls and inspects CRTs 3 and 4 and a computer 27 controls and inspects CRTs 5 and 6. Those computers 25-27 have CRT function tables and logical CRT assignment tables in their memories respectively. The computer 4 after sending an indication of function checking to the computes 25-27 ckecks sent diagnostic results of the CRTs 1-6 and make a display according to the CRT assignment table when none of them indicates abnormality, but alter the contents of the CRT assignment table if abnormality is detected and displays an important indication preferentially. |
