PURPOSE:To attain wide-range detection precisely by providing a magnet float with a molding formed of a mixture of a synthetic resin material with chemical resistance and magnetic material powder by injection molding and magnetized. CONSTITUTION:This magnet float has the magnetic material powder 20 and synthetic resin 21. For example, the magnetic material powder such as barium ferrite and strontium ferrite is kneaded with powder or pellets of the synthetic resin such as polypropylene at a specific ratio and adjusted to fixed specific gravity to obtain mixed pellets, which are molded by injection to obtain the magnet float. This magnet float uses the powdery magnetic material 20 and individual particles are covered with synthetic resin with acid resistance, so there is no probability of deterioration in long-period use and the wide-range detection is attained precisely.
