PURPOSE:To improve adhesion of a charge generating layer and a photosensitive layer and to prevent clouding of a photosensitive film in the prepn. of a photosensitive body having high photosensitivity and charged potential by providing a layer for improving adhesion between a charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer constituting a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A first semiconductor layer 402 constituted of an amorphous material consisting primarily of Si atom, C atom, and H atom as primary constituting elements, and having charge transfer H atom as primary constituting elements, and having charge transfer capacity, and a second semiconductor layer 404 constituted of an amorphous material consisting primarily of Si atom as matrix and either one of H atom or halogen atom as promary constituting elements, and having photoconductivity, are laminated in this order on an electroconductive substrate 401, and a third layer 403 is provided between the layer 402 and the layer 404 wherein the concentration of C atom changes continuously and simply from the layer 402 side to the layer 404 side. The thickness of such layer 403 is made to ca 0.05-5mum. Since each layer of this constitution is formed continuously by such as glow discharge, the adhesion between each layer is so high that no clouding of the photosensitive film is caused. Since the concn. of C changes continuously and simply, trapping of electric charge is not caused and high sensitivity is obtd. |
