PURPOSE:To distinguish speakers on a monitor picture, by setting each display section to a luminous condition in accordance with speaking of corresponding attendants and extending and contracting the length of the luminous surface in accordance with the voice level. CONSTITUTION:Aural signals SA-SC obtained from incrophones 11a-11c are sent to a transmitting device 12 and the device 12 detects the voice level of attendants and sends a signal SE to a speaker displaying signal forming device 19. On the other hand, a camera 16 simultaneously takes the image of attendats and sends a picture signal SF to a transmitting device 17. The device 17 sends a still picture signal SVP of one field or one frame to a receiving device 34 and at the same time, to the speaker displaying signal forming device 19. The device 19 produces a peaker displaying signal SDP based on the signals SE and SVP and sends the signal SDP to the receiving device 34. The device 19 also produces a monitor signal SG and gives signal SG to a display device.
