PURPOSE:To obtain easily set magnification by drawing plural indication lines which differ in inclination from a referance line from the intersection of a base line and the eference line, and displaying ratio of the tangent of each indication line to the tangent of the feference line on a scale. CONSTITUTION:The magnification setting diagram 1 of the copying machine has the base line 3, reference line 4, and indication lines 5 drawn on a plate surface 2, and the indication lines 5 are graduated 6. The base line 3 is drawn as a horizontal straight line at the lower part of the plate surface 2, and the base line 3 is an oblique line extending upward to right; and the tangent of the reference line 4 to the base line 3 is set to 2<1/2> so that the inclination of the base line 3 coincides with the inclination of a diagonal when standard paper is held longitudinally. Further, a vertical base line 7 pependicular to the base line 3 is drawn. The indication lines 5 are drawn connecting the intersections of the base lines 3 and reference line 5 and the intersections of auxiliary lines 8, and the scale 6 shows the ratio of the tangents of the indication lines to the base line 3 to the targent of the reference line, and is displayed at the right upper end of each indication line 5. |
