PURPOSE:To produce industrially and advantageously the titled compound usefull as a raw material, for silicone rubber elastomers, etc., by reacting a specific alkenyloxysilane with 1,1,3,3-tetramethyl-1,3-dihydroxy-disiloxane. CONSTITUTION:An alkenykoxysilane expressed by formula I (R<1> is 1-4C alkyl; R<2> and R<3> are H or 1-4C alkyl), e.g. methyldiisopropenyloxysilane, is reacted with 1,1,3,3-tetramethyl-1,3-dihydroxy-disiloxane expressed by formula II in a solvent, e.g. methylene chloride. After comleting the reaction, the solvent is distilled away under reduced pressure, and the reaction product is then purified by distillation to afford the aimed compound.
