NUMBER DISPLAY DEVICE FOR FACSIMILE

PURPOSE:To avoid a trouble that a signal is transmitted in error to a not intended party by providing a display device on which a dial number is displayed at transmission so as to allow the sender to confirm the dialed number at the transmission. CONSTITUTION:The display device counting a dialed pulse and displaying the display in response to the pulse number is provided. After a sender dials the number of an opposite party, the information transmission is not started before it is confirmed that the number displayed on the display device is coincident with the opposite party number intended by the sender. An LED, an LCD or a fluorescent tube display is utilized as the display device. The number dialed by the sender is confirmed at the transmission side in this way and a trouble that the transmission to a not intended party in error is avoided.
