PURPOSE:To simplify structure and to diagnose sending electric power by measuring the temperature rise of a dielectric mounted on the element antenna aperture of an antenna. CONSTITUTION:When the operation of element amplifiers 2a-2n are tested, dielectrics 6a-6n are mounted on the aperture of element antennas 1a-1n by using a metallic fixture 7. Electromagnetic waves radiated from the antennas 1a-1n have radiation power transduced into heat partially while transmitted through the dielectrics 6a-6n and heat conduction is insulated by the metallic fixture 7. For the purpose, the temperatures of the dielectrics 6a-6n are measured by seal type thermometers 8a-8n to diagnose the operation state of the element amplifiers 2a-2n.
