PURPOSE:To prevent an original from breaking by storing whether an original feeding device operates in the preceding copying operation or not, and inhibiting the feeding device from operating until the feeding device leaves a platen unless the feeding device operates. CONSTITUTION:An image processor has a mode wherein the original feeding device 20 is put in operation and a mode wherein it is not operated. The processor has the detecting means consisting of a reed switch 22 which detects the contacting/leaving state of the original feeding device 20 as to an original platen 29 and an original detection actuator 23, and a control means which performs image processing without operating the original feeding device 20 and then inhibits the start of the mode wherein the original feeding device until the leaving of the feeding device 20 from the platen 29 is detected. Consequently, the original left on the platen 29 is prevented from breaking. |
