PURPOSE:To improve the productivity of lymphokine, especially interleukin 2, remarkably, by using a monocytic cell non-agglutinating to a molded article of porous hydrophobic resin as lymphocyte-T in self mixed lymphocyte reaction. CONSTITUTION:A monocytic cell which has no agglutination tendency to a porous material composed of a hydrophobic resin and having an average pore diameter of >=600Angstrom and <3,500Angstrom (preferably porous spheres having diameter of 50-150mum in water), is used as the lymphocyte-T, and is subjected to the self lymphocyte reaction with the cell wall of a monocyte other than lymphocyte-T. Lymphokine can be produced by stimulating only the lymphokine-producing lymphocyte-T preventing the stimulation of the lymphocyte-T subgroup which does not produce lymphokine. The cell wall of the monocyte other than lymphocyte-T is a cell which does not bond with ovine erythrocyte or a cell having agglutination tendency to the above porous material, and free of the proliferation capability caused by the treatment with carcinostatic agent or the irradiation, or a cell wall obtained by the disintegration of the above cell. |
