A water-dispersible herbicide emulsion is described, containing a glyphosphateisopropylamine salt and water-insoluble herbicide such as alachlor. The emulsion is storage-stable, water-dispersible, and can contain high active ingredient concns. Thus, a formulation is given, containing glyphosphate isopropylamine salt and alachlor at a 1.4: 2.6 ratio. In pot experiments, the formulation (0.86 kg/h) totally controlled foxtail and branyard grass for > 2 weeks.
