<p>PURPOSE:To renew a display character by executing sequentially the renewal of a designated pattern by a syllable pattern designating means with a single switch means and the renewal of a designated code by a character code designating means. CONSTITUTION:A pattern recognition circuit 5 of a voice recognition device stores pattern numbers corresponding to four candidate reference syllable patterns discriminated as similar patterns to an unknown syllable patterns in a stack register 7 in the order of higher similarity. A ternary counter 13 applying a shift clock to the register 7 and the said register 7 itself act as a candidata reference syllable pattern means. Moreover, code tables 8, 9, 10, a multiplexer 11, the ternary counter 13 and a clock generator 15 act as a character code designating means. Codes corresponding to four pattern numbers of the said stack register 7 are displayed on a CRT12 by having only to repeat the operation of renewing switches SW.</p> |
