PURPOSE:To allow a terminal device to cope easily with the function change by providing a table defining from which unit a data is to be transmitted to a central unit corresponding to a transmission key to change the content of the table. CONSTITUTION:When transmission start is applied, a data corresponding to the transmission key code ''0'', that is, constitution defining information is transmitted to the central unit 1 via a signal line 52, transmitter 38, and a transmission line 53 as a transmission message. When the central device 1 receives a transmission message 1 from a terminal device 2, it recognizes that the terminal device 2 is in ready state by using the transmission key code 0 in the message. Moreover, the constitution defining information is analyzed so as to grasp the installing state of input/output units at the terminal device 2. Then the data of the table for the said terminal device 2 defined in the central device 1 is transmitted to the terminal device 2 via a transmission line 54. |
