PURPOSE:To enhance considerably the article value of a device and to make the whole of the device compact by providing a paper feeding mechanism unit, where papers can be fed automatically from a cassette, in a part of a setting base of the bottom part of the device body. CONSTITUTION:In case that one kind of cassette papar feeding mechanism is sufficiently enough in an image forming device, it is necessary to remove a unit- type cassette paper feeding mechanism 3 from a pedestal 2. In this case, the weight of one side of a device body 1 cannot be born by removal of the unit- type cassette paper feeding mechanism 3 because the weight of the device body 1 is born by the pedestal 2 and the unit-type cassette paper feeding mechanism 3. Therefore, a box-shaped member which can bear the weight of one side of the device body 1 and has a tray where usually unused cassettes can be preserved is attached to the storage part of the unit-type cassette paper feeding mechanism 3 in the pedestal 2 instead of the unit-type cassette paper feeding mechanism 3, and thus, even the image forming device having one kind of cassette paper feeding mechanism can be set to the pedestal 2. |
