PURPOSE:To vary easily a height of a work holding member in accordance with a height of a working part by forming the work holding member by two adjusting members which contact by pressing adjacently up and down to each other by recessed and projecting shaped surfaces, and adjusting its height by turning of the adjusting member. CONSTITUTION:A press ram 1 is made to descend to a work 41 placed at a prescribed position of a die device 40, a pushing part 31 of a pushing member 16 of a work holding member 13 is made to contact by pressing to a flange 41a of the work 41, the press ram 1 is further made to descend, and puching is executed to a working part 41b a punch 6. The holding member 13 is formed by adjusting members 14, 15 whose surfaces being adjacent up and down to each other and contacting by pressure have been formed to recessed and projecting shapes. In case a work 41c whose height is low is worked, when a bolt 39 is loosened and the first adjusting member 14 is turned by an operating handle 21, the projecting part of both the adjusting members 14, 15 is fitted into the recessed part of the other adjusting member, and by pushing up the second adjusting member 15 with a hand, a position of a height of a pushing part 32 can be adjusted. |
