PURPOSE:To execute easily forming and pasting of a gear by providing a knock- out die between a material to be worked and a lower knock-out punch, engaging it to a tooth form of a lower die, and pushing it up by the lower knock-out punch. CONSTITUTION:A material C to be worked is packed and enclosed among an upper die 3, a lower die 4 and a knock-out die 5, an upper knock-out punch 1 is made to descend, a shaft hole is opened, and forming by forging is completed. The upper die 3 and the upper knock-out punch 1 are made to ascend, a lowr knock-out punch 2 is made to ascend, a piercing punch 6 is pushed up, a remaining billet in the knock-out die 5 is removed, and the shaft hole is made to pass through in the upper and lower directions. Subsequently, the lower knock-out punch 2 is further made to ascend, and when the knock-out die 5 is made to ascend, the knock-out die 5 and the piercing punch 6 ascend, rotating in the tooth form direction, since the tooth form of the knock-out die 5 is engaged to the tooth form of the lower die 4, the formed gear also rotates and ascends, and the parting is executed smoothly.
