This assembly comprises a sheet metal plate 1 having a plurality of holes, which holes are arranged so as to leave untouched the longitudinal ends of the said plate, by defining two smooth opposite bands 1<2>; the said sheet metal moreover having retaining and anchoring means 1<4> penetrating into a block 2 of elastomer material attached and moulded onto the rear face of the sheet metal by penetrating into the said holes. The invention may be used as a stop, as a spring, as dampers (shock absorbers), as pads, and as a handling (transfer) line element. <IMAGE>
