Two of the four inputs are directly interconnected and also coupled to corresp. outputs by two stages of hybrid couplers. The first stage comprises two 180 deg. directional couplers. The second stage on the antenna side consists of 90 deg. directional couplers. - The system offers a 45 deg. phase shift between the interconnected inputs and each of four antennas, while phase rotations of 180 and 270 deg., zero and 90 deg. in one direction are obtd. for one of the unconnected inputs, and in the reverse direction for the other.
