PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform the security of safety to an electrician, the detection of the danger of the striking of a thunderbolt and the positional detection of a live wire, by issuing an alarm when the human body is positioned in an electric field. CONSTITUTION:In electric work, when the human body approaches an electric field generated from a live wire, voltage is induced in the coil part 3 provided to a housing 1 formed into a wristwatch shape and for obtaining reference potential upon the contact with the human body. Because of this, an alarm sound is generated from a speaker SP through FFTQ1 and an oscillator OSC. When the intensity of an electric field increases, a duty ratio changes and the ON-time of the oscillator OSC becomes long and, therefore, said alarm sound is confirmed as if its frequency becomes high. As a result, because the danger of an electric shock or the dangerous degree thereof can be known by said alarm sound, electric work can be safely performed corresponding to a line state.
