PURPOSE:To change the position of a side post in response to the tape driving direction with no use of a motive power source, by shifting a mobile guide post according to the change of the revolving direction of a rotary roll with the revolution of the roll used as a driving power source. CONSTITUTION:When the driving direction of a tape is reversed, a rotary roll 51 which is in contact with the tape starts clockwise revolutions by the frictional power to the tape. The revolution of the roll 51 is decelerated via a felt 56, a gear 52 with clutch and an intermediate gear 59 and revolves a post gear 60 clockwise. A mobile guide post 13 hits a stopper 68 with the revolution of the gear 60 and is fixed at a position 21a. Then a slip occurs between the roll 51 and the felt 56. The slip occurs in a case where the driving direction of the tape is switched to the forward direction form the reverse direction. In such a way, the post 13 can be shifted in response to the change of the revolving direction of the roll 51 with the revolution of the roll 51 used as a driving power source.
