PURPOSE:To decrease the cut time by bringing a cutting depth into a number being one over an integer of a working amount so as to decrease the number of cutting times required for the machining of the same working amount. CONSTITUTION:In machining a work 1 to a working amount (y), the working amount (y) and a cutting depth (x) decided tentatively are inputted to a data input section 4 of a numerical controller 3. The relation of y=ax+b (where (a) is a positive integer and 0<b<x) is operated by the operating section 5 and whether the relation is established or not is discriminated. When this is established with b=0, the number of cutting times Z is set to (a), the cutting depth is set to (x) and outputted to an output section 6 as a control signal. When the (b) is established and said equation is established, a value b/a is calculated, the cutting depth is corrected to x+a/b so as to calculate it as the correcting amount of the cutting depth, the number of cutting times Z is set to (a) and the result is outputted to the output section 6. |
