PURPOSE:To form efficiently casting molds of many kinds and a small quantity, intricate shapes or a large size with good workability by operating an upsetting table used for a molding operation so as to upset, swivel, ascend and descend. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal shaft part 12 is rotated by operation of a motor 15 to direct upward an upsetting table 9. On the other hand, the table 9 is swiveled toward the right side around the vertical shaft. A cylinder 7 is then actuated to lower the table 9 together with a lifting frame 6 and thereafter a drag pattern is placed onto a molding board 38 on the table. Sand is put into a drag box and is rammed. The frame 6 is moved upward and the table 9 is upset 180 deg. reverse to face downward and is swiveled forward together withd swiveling frame 2. A cylinder 36 is then actuated to move upward a lifting table 34 until the table contacts with the drag box provided on the table 9 thereby lowering said box. A cope box and cope pattern are respectively placed on the drag box and drag pattern and the sand is put into the cope box and is rammed. The casting mold consisting of the drag box, drag, cope box and cope is formed on the molding board on the table 34 by making the above-mentioned operations. |
