a. The method according to the invention relates to the manufacture of the body of a ski binding, having a bore intended to receive a piston pushed by a spring against a pivoting jaw for retaining a boot, or an intermediate member placed in contact with this jaw. b. According to this method, the inner piston 7 of the binding is moulded inside the bore 4 of the body 1 of the binding at the same time as the latter and in a single piece with this body, provision being made, between the periphery of this piston 7 and the wall of the bore of the stop body 1, for linking tabs 11 capable of breaking under the effect of pressure. c.
