摘要 PURPOSE:To miniaturize the apparatus with a reduction in the interval between reaction tubes by arranging prisms for measuring light in a liquid as opposed to one another sandwiching a pair of reaction tubes while an optical path section concurrently serving to admit and emit light therebelow to lessen the number of prisms. CONSTITUTION:First - fourth reaction lines 41-44 are provided with a cassette 28 retaining reaction tubes in a thermostatic cell 24 in parallel with the transfer direction thereof and in adjacent reaction lines on one hand, the reaction tube 29a of the first reaction line 41 and the reaction tube 29b of the second reaction line 42 are joined together through a reflecting member 30A. Prisms 27a and 27b in a pair each for measuring light in a liquid are arranged as opposed to one another sandwiching a pair of reaction tubes thus formed and optical path sections 25a and 25b concurrently serving to admit and emit light is provided below respective prisms 27a and 27b. The adjacent reaction lines 43 and 44 on the other hand is arranged in the same way. With such an arrangement, the number of prisms can be lessened to reduce the interval between the reaction tubes thereby minaturizing the apparatus drastically.
