PURPOSE:To maintain the characteristic, quality, etc. of reconditioned sand always constant by taking out the sand to be treated under treatment from a treating tank, measuring the spectral reflectivity thereof, operating relationally the measured reflectivity and the spectral reflectivity of the sand having desired quality and deciding the treating condition. CONSTITUTION:When the time for treating sand in a treating vessel 1 elapses, a supporting plate 10 is moved forward toward the tank 1 by the retracting motion of an air cylinder 13 to press a backing plate 12 to a weight 9. The weight 9 turns counterlockwise to open a sand take-out port 3 thereby taking out the sand under treatment onto a receiving tray 11. The cylinder 13 is then extended to return the weight 9 to the home position and at the same time the tray 11 is moved to right under a photodetector 14 while the sand on the tray 11 is leveled off by a scraper 19. The light detected by the photodetector 14 is transmitted to a colorimetric color difference meter 16 by which the light is analyzed and the spectral reflectivity thereof is determined. The measured reflectivity is operated relationally with the preliminarily stored spectral reflectivity of the sand having desired quality in a control device 18 and the treating condition is decided. |
