PURPOSE:To prevent peeling of pigment of the fluorescent material containing pigment almost completely by temporarily pouring the fluorescent material containing pigment to the head tank using a non-rotary diaphragm compression type pump, and further by forwarding the slurry from the tank through gravity to apply the slurry onto the glass panel. CONSTITUTION:The slurry 1 of the fluorescent material containing pigment in a slurry tank 3 is pumped up and stored in a head tank 15 by a non-rotary diaphragm compression pump 12. The slurry, then flows out of an opening 19 to a passage 20. A solenoid valve 7 opens/closes to introduce a specific amount of the slurry onto a glass panel 2. The excess of the fluorescent material slurry poured into the headtank 15 is returned back to the tank 3 via an overflor system consisting an overflor opening 17 and passage 18 in order to maintain the head of the slurry in the tank constant and thus the liquid pressure for pouring and applying is kept constant. |
