Dishwasher comprising a front door 6 whose lower part is mounted on hinges on the body 2 of the machine by means of a pair of lateral supports, each having a stop leg 8 for delimiting the movement of the door to the opening position. Each stop leg 8 is articulated to the corresponding lateral support 7, constituting with the latter a double-jointed hinge. Means 9 are provided in order to keep this double-jointed hinge to a minimum bulk configuration when the door is closed, which makes it possible to fit near the wall of the front face, below the door, a base 20 serving to fit covering panels for the machine when the latter must be fitted into a piece of furniture. <IMAGE>
