PURPOSE:To make it possible to wash the suction side of a baffle plate in the vicinity of the suction port to which fats and oils mostly adhere by providing guide means for communicating the fan side with the suction port side and leading the detergent from the fan side to the suction port side, on the baffle plate in the vicinity of the suction port. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of baffle plates 12 are provided within the main body 8 of the smoke exhausting device. To the baffle plate 12' in the vicinity of the suction port is provided guide means which communicates the fan side with the suction port side and guides the detergent from the fan side to the suction port side. The guide means is fitted to a chevron-shaped fitting tool 13 provided at the suction port 10 with a clearance 14. In the case where the inner wall of the smoke exhausting device and the baffle plates 12 are washed, when the fan 9 is stopped to operate and a washing pump is rotated, the detergent sucked up from a washing tank 23 is sprayed through a washing nozzle 19 for washing the inner wall and nozzles 20 and 21 for washing the baffle plates to carry out washing of the inner walls and the baffle plates. The detergent which has washed the inner walls and baffle plates, flows along the inner wall surface, and washes the suction port side of the baffle plate 12' and is returned to the washing tank 23. |
