PURPOSE:To quicken the selecting speed of a candidata character by changing the order of output of a Hiragana (cursive form of Kana) and a Kanji being the candidate characters taking the number of characters to be inputted or the inputted number of characters and its part of speech into account. CONSTITUTION:A Hiragana character inputted on a keyboard 1 is stored in a Hiragana character storage register 2 and further, the inputted Hiragana character number is stored in a character number storage register 3. A control section 8 controls the switching of a changeover switch 7 depending on the input character number. When the content of the character number storage register 3 is ''1'', the changeover switch 7 selects at first the content of a Hiragana transfer register 6. When the content of the character number storage register 3 is <=''2'', the changeover switch 7 selects the content of a Kanji storage register 5 at first. After a Hiragana character candidate is displayed at first on a display device in case of one character input, a Kanji candidate is displayed. In case of <=''2'' characters, the Kanji candidate is displayed at first. |
