PURPOSE:To test a plurality of test pieces sequentially at a high efficiency by delivering a test piece to a chuck with a delivery hand from a testpiece stock magazine set in a thermostatic cell to perform a high or low temperature material testing after a test load is applied thereon. CONSTITUTION:A high or low temperature atmosphere is generated with a temperature adjusting mechanism 4 of a thermostatic cell 1 and a rod 16 of a delivery hand 13 advances to a test piece stock magazine 12 to hole a test piece 2 with a clip 17. Then, as the rod 16 retracts and the clip 17 delivers the test piece 2 to chucks 10H and 10L, a hydraulic cylinder 11 is driven and the testpiece 2 is gripped between gripping fingers. Subsequently, with the rotation of a screw rod 8, a cross head 6 rises to apply a test load such as tension load on the testpiece 2 and a high or low temperature testing is performed. Upon the completion of the testing, the testpiece 2 is dropped away and the subsequent test piece is tested. |
