Flow and return pipes (13, 14) from gravity circuit boiler (12) and flow and return pipe (20, 21) from forced circulation circuit boiler (19) are connected to a coupling manifold (17) and heat exchange means, e.g. heating coil (30) in hot water storage cylinder (31) and/or central heating radiator (40) are connected, for hot water to circulate therethrough, to the manifold (17) and/or between feed and return pipes (20, 21) of boiler (19). This arrangement permits combination of one or more gravity circuits (10) with one or more forced circulation circuits (11) so that each circuit can be used either alone or with the other (or others) without the need for manual or other controls. |
