PURPOSE:To increase the separation factor and utilization efficiency of the membrane by insulating electrically an electrode terminal from a liquid to be treated, and enabling the terminal on the electric power source side to connect with said terminal from the outside of a casing. CONSTITUTION:The main body part 41 in a casing is connected with a negative electric power source through the connecting part 44, and an electrode plate 3 of a membrane assembling body in a cartridge A is connected with a positive electric power source through a sleeve washer 32 and rod-shaped terminals 21 and 51. A liquid to be treated is sent into a membrane separator at specified pressure, and branched into passage 70 of the liquid to be treated. The liquid alone is permeated through a flat plate-shaped membrane 1 by an electrical osmotic action to a spacer 2 for forming the passage of the permeated liquid, passed through an inductive pipe inserting hole 7, and discharged from a permeated liquid discharge pipe. The unpermeated material is discharged from an outlet of the rear frame equipped with the outlet of the unpermeated liquid to be treated. |
