PURPOSE:To improve wear resistance, heat conductivity, and damping capacity of a car brake system by forming a sliding pressure receiving part by the means of cast iron of flake graphite structure and a wheel-side stationary part by the means of castiron of spheroidal graphite structure. CONSTITUTION:A part forming the sliding surface 2a of a disc rotor 2 constitutes a sliding pressure receiving part 2c and also the entire disc rotor 2 constitutes a sliding pressure receiving means. The sliding pressure receiving part 2c is composed of flake graphite cast iron and connected to the wheel-side stationary part 2b as a unit by the use of an internal chill iron member 10. The wheel-side stationary part 2b is formed by either a highly strength cast iron such as spheroidal graphite cast iron and Vermicular cast iron or one of these cast irons. |
