PURPOSE:To self-start a magnet rotor by suitably disposing calking generating means and an IC for a drive circuit with respect to an armature coil. CONSTITUTION:A square case 9 for a disc brushless fan motor has a central hole 10, and a bearing forming projection 9a is formed on the inner periphery of the hole 10. The rotational shaft 13 of a fan motor FM is supported by bearings 11, 12. An armature 1 has an armature coil 4, and a cup unit 20 with a fan is disposed oppositely to the coil 4. A rotor yoke 27 and a field magnet 2 are fixed to the unit 20. Calking generating means 15 is disposed at the position separated at the prescribed distance from a conductor which contributes to the torque generated from the coil 4 to self-start a field magnet 2, and an IC6 for a drive circuit is disposed out of the armature coil occupying position. |
