PURPOSE:To achieve rapid shut-off of output at any transmitting position by supporting the shaft of a split pulley movably in the directions coming in and out of contact with a virtual straight line extending between a driving shaft and a driven shaft. CONSTITUTION:The shaft S of a split pulley 1 is movalby supported by a bearing frame 4 in the directions coming in and out of contact with a virtual axis shaftline extending between a driving shaft a and a driven shaft b. Thus constructed, movement of the shaft S in the above directions causes connection and disconnection to the output, and the split pulley, being at any transmitting position, can be rapidly actuated in the direction in which the belt becomes loose to shut off the output. |
