PURPOSE:To attain picture formation which requires plural operations by one scanning at a high speed by reading once an original regardless of the number of formed picture information, and repeating the reading of picture signals from a memory several times. CONSTITUTION:Writing in a memory is conducted in the order of memories 171, 172, 173...177, 178, 171.. When the system writes picture signals over half the entire memory, i.e., in this example, when the system writes the signals in the memory 174, reading out of the picture signals from the memories 171-178 is started. The control signals for the start of this reading out are generated by a decoder 153 and inputted in a control circuit 154 of a synchronizing signal BD. When prohibition of outputting of the BD signals is released, the BD signals drive a control circuit 158 and performs reading out in the order or memories 177, 178 171... from the memory in the same way as in writing.
