In a scaled-down model of a nuclear power station, its buildings, including the reactor building and machine house, its installations, components, machinery and piping are produced as developed cut-out component fields with appropriate marginal bonding zones for the individual model components on cut-out sheets, especially made from reinforced paper or cardboard. By folding and/or bending the cut-out component fields and bonding together the marginal bonding zones, the model components, having angular or curved surfaces, can be produced. The model components 1<*>, 39<*>, 43<*>, 61<*>, 62<*>, 67<*>, 69<*>, 72 <* > thus produced can be fixed on a baseplate GP in a relationship corresponding to the original. For the purpose of accessibility to relevant model components, at least the reactor building 1<*> and the machine house 43<*>, the latter are provided with easily removable hoods 1.1<*> and/or roofs 43.1<*>. <IMAGE>
