PURPOSE:To improve safety and high speed performance while to widen the available limit, by adhering a polishing strip cloth radially while partially overlapping onto the grinding face of resinoid grinding wheel disc in the circumferential direction then performing work by means of grinding wheel and polishing cloth. CONSTITUTION:When performing grinding work, the angle theta made by grinding/ polishing tool A and material B to be grinded is increased to contact the outercircumference of grinding wheel 1 mainly against said material B thus to grind said material B through grinding function of grinding wheel 1. When performing polishing work, said angle theta is reduced to contact only the polishing face 3a of polishing cloth 3 against said material B thus to polish said material B through polishing function of polishing cloth 3. Since adhesive will permeat through the surface of grinding wheel 1, the polishing cloth 3 is scarcely peeled from the grinding wheel 1 during usage to realize stable high speed performance while since the grinding wheel 1 and the polishing cloth 3 are consumed in balance, the polishing cloth is never disturbed by the grinding wheel resulting in widening of available limit. |
