PURPOSE:To prevent a V-belt from damages and rate of fuel consumption from aggravation irrespective of change in travelling range by changing line pressure according to the travelling range. CONSTITUTION:A line pressure generating valve 104 for changing the line pressure Pl according to travelling range is connected to an output side hydraulic cylinder 80 for an output shaft 10. And the line pressure Pl has a value corresponding to the input side torque of CVT which is changed in relation to the travelling range. Thus, the durability of a V-belt and rate of fuel consumption can be prevented respectively from aggravation by the line pressure Pl adapted to have improper value by the travelling range.
