摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a sulfur-contg. rhodium catalyst which can yield a C2-contg. oxygen compd. at a high selection rate by incorporating the active rhodium formed by a heating treatment of a rhodium compd. deposited together with a sulfur compd. on a carrier into the catalyst. CONSTITUTION:The active Rh formed by subjecting the Rh compd. (e.g., Rh chloride) deposited together with an S compd. (e.g., sulfuric acid) on a carrier such as silica or the like to a heating treatment at >=150 deg.C usually under reducing conditions is incorporated into an Rh-contg. catalyst to be used for reaction to produce an oxygen-contg. compd. consisting of acetic acid, acetoaldehyde and ethanol by bringing CO and H into reaction. The content of R in the deposited catalyst is usually 0.01-15wt% and the ratio of S and Rh is 0.001-2 by atom. The gaseous raw material contg. CO and H is brought into reaction by using the resulting catalyst by which the C2-contg. oxygen compd. contg. much acetic acid is obtd. at a high selection rate.
