Side doors for vehicles

The hinges of a side door for vehicles are arranged and constructed in such a way that when the side door is open the upper pivot point of the hinge is displaced outwards with respect to the lower pivot point of the hinge. By means of the outward tilting of the opened side door achieved in this way, an improved entrance cross-section for the passengers is provided when the side faces of the vehicle are drawn in in the direction of the roof of the vehicle.
