The invention relates to a measuring and calibrating device for flowing media to register the flow rate by metrological means, a high measuring accuracy having to be ensured at the same time. The object and aim of the invention is to provide a flow-rate measuring device with integrated calibrating system by which a measuring accuracy with a confidence interval for P = 95 % of about 1 % is achieved. Using a baffle surface in accordance with DD-WP 142472, which is designed in the manner of a duct and is suspended without wear or friction and is immune to contamination in a known drop-duct housing, a calibration spring system was preferably integrated between outer coupling of the force pick-up and measuring device in such a way that zero-point shifts and the effective spring constant in the measuring direction, and consequently the measuring range, can be changed within broad limits. <IMAGE>
