PURPOSE:To obtain a precise motion system having simple structure while movable quickly with high accuracy by employing a tension pulley to be driven by a correction step motor provided independently to engage in the way of wire span and to bend the wire against tension. CONSTITUTION:Upon rotation of correction step motor 14 from the position where the tension pulley 17 will separate from the wire 9 to bring the tension pulley 17 to the position contacting against the wire 9, the wire 9 is folded against tension to the state shown by imaginary line. If there is no slip between the wire 9 and the drive pulley 13, the guide table 2 coupled to one end of wire 9 will move to the position shown by the imaginary line through compression of spring 18 and extension of wire 9 within resilient limit. In other word, it can be further moved slightly from the position reached through rotation of step motor 11 through rotation of correction motor 14. Consequently, even if the member stopping position of step motor for driving wire is rough, the stopping position can be corrected finely by means of a correction step motor.
